CAN YOU VOTE?

To vote in municipal elections, you must meet certain requirements. These include:

Being 18 years of age on election day
Being a Canadian citizen
Be registered on the electoral list.

You must also meet one of the following two conditions:

Be a resident of the municipality and have lived in Quebec for at least six months;
Have been the owner of a building or the occupant of a business establishment located within the municipality for at least 45 days.
