CAN YOU VOTE?

To vote in municipal elections, you must meet certain requirements. These include:

  • Being 18 years of age on election day
  • Being a Canadian citizen
  • Be registered on the electoral list.

You must also meet one of the following two conditions:

  • Be a resident of the municipality and have lived in Quebec for at least six months;
  • Have been the owner of a building or the occupant of a business establishment located within the municipality for at least 45 days.

ARE YOU REGISTERED?

To vote, you must be registered on the electoral list at your home address. This is your responsibility!

REVIEW COMMISSION

To submit a request for registration, removal, or correction, you may appear before the review commission, which will be held at 9 Town Hall Road, West Bolton, QC, J0E 2T0, on the following dates and times:

Thursday, October 16, 2025, from:

  • 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.

Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from:

  • 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

 

HOW TO VOTE?

Go to the polling station and identify yourself by presenting proof of identity such as:

  • Health insurance card;
  • Driver's license;
  • Canadian passport;
  • Certificate of Indian Status;
  • Canadian Forces ID card.

*Please note that there will be no mail-in voting for 2025.
