For over a century, Canadians have relied on census data to better understand how the country is evolving and to support decisions that directly affect families, neighbourhoods and businesses. We are hiring local staff to help us collect accurate data in your community. These data are vital for planning and evaluating programs and services such as education, health care, child care, housing, emergency services, roads, public transportation and job training.
To carry out the 2026 Census, we will be hiring people across Canada. Your support in raising awareness of these job opportunities will directly contribute to the success of the census.
Help us spread the word. We are asking your municipality to share the message below and the attached poster with its residents.
Statistics Canada is now hiring for the 2026 Census!
