The Brome-Missisquoi CLD is calling for applications for the 2025 agricultural and bio-food industry support grants.

Grants to support the next generation of agricultural and bio-food entrepreneurs: It's time to shine a spotlight on our next generation!

The CLD de Brome-Missisquoi, on behalf of Desjardins and its partners, is calling for applications for the 2025 Grants to Support the Next Generation of Agricultural and Bio-Food Entrepreneurs.

Do you know an emerging entrepreneur in agriculture or bio-food in our region? Invite them to apply!

Up for grabs:

Four $4,500 grants (total value of $18,000);
Farmer's Choice Award (training worth $2,950);
Jury's Choice Award ($500);
Participation prize.
New for 2025: A flexible approach that rewards the four best projects, regardless of category. The jury will evaluate the projects using a scoring grid, taking into account the business category (agricultural production start-up, bio-food start-up, and business takeover) and the contribution to the territorial values of Brome-Missisquoi: sustainable development, innovation, and territorial food system.

Deadline: October 31, 2025 - 5 p.m.
