Waste collection

Residual materials collection procedure

5-step collection procedure :

Take the bin out at the end of the day, the day before collection
Place the bin in your driveway, about one metre from the road
Position the wheels towards your home
Leave a clear space around the bin (60 cm or more) for the automated arm.
Remove the bin from the roadside no later than the morning after collection

It's a nuisance not to move your bin more than three metres from the road when you've finished collecting residual materials; you could be fined $100 + court costs.
