Returnable containers | Two new return locations in the region

The modernization of the deposit system continues, and we have some news for the MRC region

Consignaction has opened two new return locations in our region.

📍 City of Cowansville: 135 Sherbrooke Street, Suite 101

📍 City of Farnham: 201 Main Street East, Suite 102

The one in Bromont opened last February:

82 Bromont Boulevard - Suite G-101

For municipalities without return locations, several retailers continue to collect containers.

Reminder about new returnable containers: Plastic ready-to-drink beverage containers ranging from 100 mL to 2 L have been returnable since March 1, 2025.

Here are a few examples:

✅ Bottled water, sparkling water, and soft drinks

✅ Juice and milk bottles

✅ Bottles of spirits
