From December 15, 2025, to February 16, 2026, for-profit businesses and social economy enterprises are invited to submit their projects under the Local Businesses component of the Regional and Rural Development Fund of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
The Quebec government is investing $50 million over five years to help establish, maintain, or improve the local business offering in municipalities with fewer than 20,000 residents. The funds are intended to improve access to food, building materials, everyday consumer goods, and fuel.
